Or Bedlocked. Or flat on my Backlocked. Or any other way to describe the last two weeks post knee surgery.
My bed is alternately a pile of ice packs, heating pads, towels, books and a laptop. It looks like I am building a nest for the long haul.
Looking forward to getting back in my Saucony’s and re-introducing them to the road.
In the meantime.. Is it time for heat or ice? I forget.

I’m nursing a foot (re)injury, the scene you describe is all too familiar. I favor ice cream, hot popcorn, and Netflix for when you’ve finished reading your zillionth novel.
And a major dose of patience. 🙂
